•    Avoid consumptive
If you can afford to celebrate a party. Don’t force it. Talk over with your family to buy a gift, christmas.
•    Teach how to manage money
Give the child pocket money and help him to manage it. Based on the 9-14 years old child, seen that the child who get pocket money can economize than that that doesn’t have.
There is no measurement, how much money to give, but the aim is not to satisfy all his need and make him understand that he can use his own money to buy what he needs. This will make him understand that one thing is expensive and can afford and they can appreciate it.
